Finance Fiesta #15~The Patriot Day Edition

by Anna on September 11, 2008

Welcome to 15th Finance Fiesta! I am very excited to be your host for this very special Patriot Day Edition of the Finance Fiesta.

I write “On A Quest To Be Debt Free” to help families make the transition from living life in debt to learning to live on less than they earn. I started “On A Quest To Be Debt Free” in May 2008 to help other families deal with the sometimes overwhelming prospect of digging themselves out of debt. Prior to raising my family, I spent more money than I was earning. Since having my children I’ve learned how to spend less than I earn.

There are two main ways that you can keep up to date with the latest news here at “On A Quest To Be Debt Free”. Each option will suit different people and you’re more than welcome to pick any (or both) of them.

My simple suggestion is get rid of your credit cards COMPLETELY. Most of my problems were due to my credit cards and my infatuation with using them to buy shoes.

This theme is very touching. I was enlisted in the USAF when 9-11 happened, and it was a day I will never forget. It had a direct impact on my life - and the lives of countless others.
