It’s the weekend, which means it’s time for a round up! I didn’t do a round up last Saturday because my blog wasn’t allowing me to write new posts, so this one will be a bit longer to include carnivals I missed last week!
This is the first weekend that we are not camping, hence the name of this edition! The camper has been brought home, cleaned out, packed up, and winterized. Let’s get started with the round up, shall we?
First, I want to start off with some great posts from the Debt Bloggers Network:
- Debt Reduction Formula presents When Frugality Kills; Ryan talks about how buying food simply to be frugal can be a poor choice. The cheapest foods are often the unhealthiest.
- How I Save Money wrote, “25 Ways I Save Money: The Full List“. This post is a compilation of all the great ways LuLuGal saves money!
- Financial Wellness Project started a new finance carnival! The first ever “Birthday Edition” of the Carnival of Financial Resources was held this week. Check out the great entries and make sure to get your entries in for next week!
Here are some of my other favorite posts from some great bloggers:
- Simple Mom shares 30 Simple Ways to Get Your Child Ready to Read. Reading is such a rewarding pasttime and it’s never to early to get your child to love reading!
- Small Notebook shares her recipe for New England Clam Chowder. I love this time of year and a great bowl of soup!
- Halloween is quickly approaching and Squawkfox has 10 great costume ideas!
I participate in a couple of Carnivals as well:
- Carnival of Financial Planning-October 11, 2008 edition was hosted by The Skilled Investor. My article, “Clean Up Your Credit Problems” was featured under the Financial Planning category.
- The 19th Finance Fiesta-Oktoberfest Edition was hosted by Living Almost Large. My article, “Slash Your Water Bill” was featured in the Frugality category.
That concludes this weekend’s roundup!
